My love affair with Target

I’ve fallen in love with my Target Superstore. I can’t get enough. Sometimes I even stop in when I have nothing to buy. But then there’s always something to purchase… A picture frame for the nursery, a pair of slippers that look so warm, a fedora (hey, it was worth a try!).

Target and I had always been good friends, but something changed one day. I started looking at him differently. His stock of women’s clothing got better, he added groceries to his square footage and then he added Starbucks. And I was officially head over heels.

I’ve purchased almost all of my clothes there this year. Jeggings that I’ve lived in my entire pregnancy, cozy sweaters, sweat suits, tank tops, fun seasonal t-shirts, the list goes on. There’s something about finding a great outfit for less than $50 bucks that makes my heart skip a beat. And makes the hubs not even care to look at the receipt or ask questions about why I spend so much time there…

When my romance with Tarjay (he likes it when I call him that) heated up, I had to break up with some other boyfriends, like Costco. As much as I enjoyed him, I realized that he was always convincing me to buy more frozen chicken and athletic socks than should be legal to own. Of course I still stop in from time to time but let’s keep that between us. Tarjay gets very jealous.
