I don’t know if I am what you’d call a “foodie” but I do love good food- I appreciate good cheese and gourmet restaurant menus despite the high pricetag. So gifts you can eat are fabulous if they land under my tree.
Here’s some things I would be thrilled to find in my mailbox (or stocking) this Christmas.
The Cheese People
Ok, this is my favorite tent at our local market, and you can buy from them online now! The Rasberry Bellavitano and the aged parmesan are my absolute faves but I’ve never had a bad bite from them.
Pure Dark: chocolate harvested from nature
The Fusion Bark is fabulous- with carmelized cocoa nibs and roasted pecans! I also can never say no to a chocolate covered nut or fruit. Go for one of the indulgent gift sets and you’re sure to please any chocolate lover.
Talbott Full-Leaf Teas
Just listen to these flavors: Chocolate Strawberry Temptation, Lemon Meringue, Earl Grey Enchantment… need I say more ? No matter that it’s the holidays, these teas and gifts sets are ideal for hostess gifts into the New Year as well as when you want to send a friend a little “pick me up.” It would work on me…
Divvies Bakery
For the person in your life that is allergic to everything. (I happen to be the mother of one.) Choose from cookies, gourmet popcorn, candy, and CUPCAKES. Dairy-free, gluten-free, egg-free, nut-free selections will make this a real treat for any food lover with food sensitivities.
Crumbs
Speaking of cupcakes… Crumbs will deliver their amazing tasty cakes. Might want to ask Santa for this one for yourself. The cupcake of the month right now is Peppermint Hot Cocoa. Oh yes.
Do you give or send food as gifts? What’s your favorite to give or get?

SInce we just moved from Chicago we can no longer get Garrett’s popcorn which is famous there. My son’s big gift he wants this year is the caramel and cheese popcorn mix. I ordered him a two-gallon tin — cost for it plus shipping … a whopping $65!!! The things we do for food, and LOVE!
Oh, and those peppermint hot cocoa cupcakes sound divine!!
Talbott Teas was one of Oprah’s Favorite Things. That’s what I’m giving for Christmas this year!
