Last night we had our “Christmas” with the cousins. With four kids on each side, and aunts and uncles, it would be a whole lot to spend if we all exchanged gifts.
We have a tradition of celebrating with a movie night- each family buys the other family a DVD and we watch one together with popcorn and treats.
It’s a wonderful way to spend time together without the stress of spending too much money.
I’ve heard of other large families drawing names or only buying for the kids (which is our case still would be a lot to buy for.) How do you celebrate the holidays with large families?
