Let’s talk Oscars (also known as The Academy Awards but who calls it that?) I love to watch, oftentimes not even having seen most of the movies nominated.
This Sunday’s show is no exception, and my husband and I will throw our usual party of two with take out Chili’s or Noodles & Company. Classy!
I did see a few of the films in the running for Best Picture like Black Swan, Toy Story 3, Inception, The Kids Are All Right, and The Social Network. My hubby saw True Grit- does that count?
Of the nominated movies that I had the opportunity to watch, I would have to say Inception was pretty incredible and Black Swan was, well, incredibly interesting. I really wanted to see The King’s Speech and even without seeing it I have a feeling it is deserving of the win. Colin Firth should win best actor, too. Mr. Darcy!
Of the documentaries, I have only seen Exit Through The Gift Shop (available as instant viewing on Netflix right now) and I would love for it to win just so I can find out if it was really real… and if Banksy will show up to accept!

I LOVED Exit Through the Gift Shop. I hope it wins!! Loved the Social Network, and Black Swan too. The Kids are Alright was good too. I thought Winter’s Bone was boring.
