I am being serious when I say that right now, I think that I know more women who are expecting than not expecting. (I am not expecting, by the way. But it seems I am in the minority.)
Almost every day I hear of a new pregnancy or adoption announcement. Which is fabulous! Such wonderful news! But wow, what a boom! Maybe it’s because I know more people on Facebook, Twitter, blogs and church, and so I am seeing it more that way, but I am talking in-real-life friends as well. Good thing I love baby showers and giving awesome gifts.
Is it just me? Or have you noticed a baby boom around you, too? Are you expecting?
My three best friends are all pregnant right now, and all have the EXACT SAME DUE DATE.
um, yeah, apparently I missed the memo and feel a bit left out.

I think being a labour doula puts me in the path of more pregnant women than most, but yes — babies everywhere! I’ve got births lined up all spring!
(Also, all the celebs are pregnant right now. For serious… I write for a celeb site and we’re busy!)
HUGE BOOM
wait…wasn’t there a huge snow storm about 6-8 weeks ago?
I’ve been feeling the opposite. With my first two, I had a lot of friends and fmaily who were pregnant within a year of me on either side. I’m pregnant now, and it feels like I’m all alone. Most of my friends are “done” having babies, so we’re bringing up the rear!
I’m a trend setter, what can I say.
(But dude, seriously. Everyone IS pregnant.)
I am not expecting, but I agree it seems like EVERYONE else is.

I’m 18 weeks with my 4th and only know of one or two others! Glad to hear I’ll be braving the summer heat with lots of others!
I have been hearing of pregnancies everywhere..friends and family and celebrities and yup even myself. I am 15 weeks and never thought I would have anymore babies. Its crazy how many people are pregnant!
I would have to agree. I know 5 woman that are preganant and due between March and April and my girlfriend at work knows 6 woman including me due in Feb. and March. One day in the parking lot at my local supermarket I saw two other pregnant woman. Everywhere I turn there is another. There is really a pregnancy boom going on.
