Today is the first day it actually feels like summertime to me. My oldest is sleeping in, the younger three are making a humongous pillow fort on my bed upstairs, I’ve already showered and dressed (a miracle!) and am sitting down with my iced coffee (Starbucks Via), a bagel with dark chocolate almond spread, and Hanging With Friends on my iPhone.
The windows are open, Pandora (Arcade Fire radio) is in my ears, and well, life just feels good right here right now.
Later the kids will play outside or cover my dining table in paint while I fix lunch. They might never get out of their pjs and I do not care… summer break is here!

Sounds absolutely delightful! And FYI, we totally have days where we stay in our pjs all day long!

We’ve had more sleeping in so far this week and two days full of fun, once I finished work for the week. I love jammie mornings
This past week was VBS for us, at night (6-9 pm). By the time we came home, ate (another) dinner, and took a bath, it made for 10:30-ish bedtimes. This morning, no one woke up before 9:30. It was a great Saturday, for sure, and a nice summer break!
