According to reports, online shopping in the US is up 15% this holiday season with an estimated $30 billion spent so far. With 36% of our holiday shopping done online, obviously customer service is important to us. What’s the point of buying grandma something online if she can’t return it? So what online sites are going to deliver when it comes to quality customer care?
I was reading through American Way magazine and found an article on a new company called StellaService. It uses undercover shoppers to test more than 300 elements of the online customer experience by buying and returning merchandise. Be on the look out for a StellaService seal which will mean that the website has been road-tested and the customer can expect good service.
Among the top-rated stores:
Zappos.com
