Celebrity moms: Debuts, bump news and post-baby body secrets

February 14, 2012 |  by

It’s no secret that since becoming a mom I’m obsessed with really, really interested in the lives of celebrity moms. (And c’mon, aren’t we all just a little star crazy?) Every Tuesday, I’ll be giving you an update on the latest happenings in the lives of Hollywood mamas and mamas-to-be. From the first picture of babies like Blue Ivy Carter, to bump announcements to post-baby body secrets, I’ll share the latest buzz about celebrity moms.

Blue Ivy Carter’s debut! Beyonce and Jay-Z decided to reveal the first picture of their baby daughter in a less than red carpet worthy way (I’m a big fan of the unveil!). They created a simple website: helloblueivycarter.tumblr.com with a note that says, “We welcome  you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives.”

Blue Ivy is a beauty!

Joy Williams (Civil War) pregnancy announcement Joy announced via Twitter, that she and husband Nate Yetton are expecting their first child in June. She has a lot to celebrate this week- she also took home two Grammys at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.

Congrats, Joy and Nate!

Rebecca Romijn’s post-baby body secrets. Since having my baby, I’ve been obsessed with intensely focused on regaining my post-baby body (and I’m feeling pretty good) but have been told by more than one person that I should give up the dream that my body will ever be what it once was. That having a baby forever and permanently changes your bod. But when I see Rebecca Romijn–who gave birth to TWINS Dolly and Charlie in 2008–on the cover of the March issue of Fitness –and her bod looks even better than it did before–I know that it can be done. You just have to work your post-baby booty off to get there. Romijn says, it was “the hardest thing she ever had to do.” Her secrets? An intense diet and Bikram yoga.

Turn up the heat and sign me up for Bikram–Rebecca Romijn’s post-baby body is rockin’!
