I'll admit it I'm a CARTOON junkie. My addiction to animation and the worlds it brought to life began with the Flintstones and the Jetsons whose pre-historic and the futuristic universes provided my kiddie self with magical worlds of pure escapism. What I've always cherished most about my favorite cartoons- in addition to the fact that their characters were hopelessly flawed, rarely wore shoes and more often than not had arms kind of stuck to their sides- were the relationships they explored and developed. Actually come to think of it my relationship with my husband is eerily similar to that of Fred and Wilma!
